DELHI

Delhi, a city that embodies the nation's rich history and vibrant present, seamlessly blends ancient traditions with modern life. It’s a place that invigorates the spirit and accelerates the heartbeat, serving as a hub for countless dreams while inspiring connections and creativity.

Just over a century ago, the British relocated their empire's capital from Calcutta to Delhi, and it has remained the capital of India ever since. Now a bustling cosmopolitan city, Delhi celebrated its centenary as the capital, showcasing its deep-rooted history alongside rapid modernization. With numerous monuments, the city offers an abundance of historical treasures, reflecting its past as the heart of powerful empires such as the Tughlaqs, Khiljis, and Mughals.

Today, Old Delhi provides a captivating glimpse into the past, with its narrow alleys, havelis, and vibrant bazaars. The city is home to three UNESCO World Heritage sites—Qutub Minar, Red Fort, and Humayun’s Tomb—each a testament to the architectural brilliance of bygone emperors. Meanwhile, Central Delhi features tree-lined streets and iconic structures like Rashtrapati Bhavan and India Gate, revealing the city’s colonial heritage alongside its many museums that celebrate India’s fascinating history.
